RICOH fi-8950, fi-8930 and fi-8820 are now available to order
On the 11th of January 2024, PFU (EMEA) Limited officially announced the release of three new production scanners: RICOH fi-8950, fi-8930, and fi-8820. The scanners are optimized for use in busy environments and continuous scanning of large volumes of documents; They feature durable construction, automatic document feeding with a capacity of 500 sheets (fi-8820) or 750 sheets (fi-8950 and fi-8930), and scanning speeds of up to 150 pages per minute (ppm), depending on the model; Costly delays and potential damage are avoided thanks to industry-leading paper protection features such as Stapled Document Detection. In addition, Automatic Skew Correction* ensures uninterrupted, consistent feeding, even when documents are loaded at an angle. The built-in intelligent Multi-Feed function detects labels, sticky notes, and photos and stops the scanner accordingly;
RICOH fi-8950, fi-8930, and fi-8820 can process different types of documents without problems or interruption thanks to the two beginnings of the charter submission in all models. Function for automatic selection on profile, allows processing on a mixture of partidies with documents, as it determines the appropriate settings for each page. Options for USB 3.2 and Gigabit LAN are available for all models – ensuring high-speed, reliable connectivity and guarantee that the data can give a good and accurate connection; RICOH professional document scanners deliver industry-leading OCR accuracy and exceptional copy quality. This is achieved through a combination of the unique Clear Image Capture technology, and the PaperStream IP, driver, which removes noise and optimizes file size for more cost-effective storage.
The RICOH fi-8950, fi-8930, and fi-8820 scanners are complemented by their own PaperStream software but can be used flexibly with any other scanning application. They are also optimized to work with the industry-leading PaperStream Capture Pro software when deployed in multi-workstation environments.
